There is a whole world of challenges faced by young people today. One of these challenges is deciding whether to stay in education. The main reason many young people drop out of education is lack of money.
However, if you want to carry on learning in England, you may be entitled to an Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA).
If you continue to learn and develop your skills, you could receive up to £30 per week to help with travel, books and equipment.
Education Maintenance Allowance is managed by the Learning Skills Council (LSC). The amount that you receive is based on your household income.
