If you want to recruit a young person, but you don’t want the time consuming job of sifting applications and arranging interviews, then talk to us at Rocket. Our long-standing good relationships with local schools and Connexions Services combined with our own all-year-round advertising and recruitment means that we are able to carry out the initial selection process. We will interview and assess applicants and provide you with a short list for you to make the final choice. There is no charge for this service but we would require that the young person have the status of Apprentice, or if this is not possible, follow a programme of NVQ training with us.

Rocket Training Limited offers Apprenticeships to learners in:

• Motor Vehicle Engineering

We aim to place learners within local businesses in order to give them the experience that is essential in order for them to obtain their qualification. We therefore offer you the opportunity to place a learner within your company to perform tasks relevant to their chosen qualification.

Your Role

Your role in the development of the learner is an important one. We ask that you aid them in their progress towards attaining a qualification by:

• Paying them a minimum training allowance
• Allowing them sufficient time away from work to allow them to study towards their NVQ
• Allowing us regular access to the learner to maintain their development
• Contributing to a regular review of their progress
