ROCKET TRAINING STUDY PROGRAMME IN HORTICULTURE
What will I be doing?
We will help you develop skills and understanding of the following:
- Health and Safety
- Mowing Grass
- Weed Control
- Developing flower beds and containers
- Using machinery
- Problem solving
- Growing and pruning plants
- Working with others
These skills will lead to an ABC Awards Qualification up to Level 2.
What else?
You will be able to develop skills which will help you gain employment in the Retail industry across a wide range of employers. You will work towards Maths and English and enrichment. The programme will include a period of work experience in a local employer.
How long does it last?
The course will last for up to 12 months.
What kind of job could I get after this course?
You can progress into full time employment, a Traineeship or an apprenticeship or get a reference from the employer.
