ROCKET TRAINING TRAINEESHIP IN MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNOLOGY
What will I be doing?
You will do work experience in a local garage which will help you develop skills and understanding of the following:
- Health and Safety in a workshop
- Change engine components
- Checking steering, suspension, cooling and lubrication
- Changing and maintaining brakes
- Changing wheels and tyres
- Routine checks and services
- Working with others
What else?
You will be able to develop skills which will help you gain employment in the Motor industry across a wide range of employers. You will work towards Maths and English. Employers usually pay a contribution of up to £100/week towards expenses.
How long does it last?
The course will last for up to 6 months.
What kind of job could I get after this course?
You can progress into full time employment an apprenticeship or get a reference from the employer.
